PUBLIC ACCESS:
Anyone may use
materials in the library. Residents of California have borrowing privileges,
if they have a current San Joaquin Valley Library System borrower's card. Current
CA Driver's License or CA ID Card required to obtain a library card.
REFERENCE:
Help given to other libraries and to the public, limited by staff time.
INTERLIBRARY LOAN:
Requests accepted
by Horizon Circulation System, U.S. mail or phone. Three week loans.

PERIODICAL SUBSCRIPTIONS: 126 titles in Coalinga, 30 titles
in Huron; 4 newspapers. Holdings listed in AWLNET Union List of Periodicals;
CULP.
NONBOOK MATERIALS: Cassette books, videos, microfilm, compact
discs, Fresno Co. Assesor's maps on microfilm.
SUBJECT STRENGTHS:
Native Americans, California missions, geology, art, local history and genealogy.
PHOTOCOPY:
Copies can be made
for other libraries for a fee. Copies can be mailed or picked up at the library.
Public may use the copy machines; charge is $.20 per page.
EQUIPMENT:
Microfilm reader
and printer; Microfiche reader-printer. Community Computers. Typewriter, VCR
and large screen TV available.
MEETING ROOM:
Available. Make reservations through the Circulation Desk.
